Pricing
We provide free estimates, over the phone, online, or in-person. All estimates are free and hold no obligation. To get an online estimate you will have to go to our “estimate” tab on our website and fill out the information. In order to give an accurate home/office cleaning estimate, we will do a Walkthrough. A Walkthrough is when you walk us through your home/office, showing us not only what you need cleaned , but the special areas that require special care. For over the phone estimates you will need to call the office at (919-216-6223)
Yes, in instances where we are required to pay for parking, this fee is added to the total for your cleaning.
No. All of our pricing does not include any tips or gratuity.
Tips are never expected but always appreciated!
Of course! We offer discounts for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly service.
Billing
Your card will only be charged when your cleaning crew arrives and conducts a brief walkthrough of your home. This walkthrough helps ensure that the size and condition of your home matches the information submitted in your online order. Once your card is charged, a receipt will be sent to you via email for your records. Note that in order to verify the validity of your form of payment, a temporary hold in the amount of the cleaning, will be placed on the card 24 hours before your appointment. This hold is NOT a charge and usually falls off within 48 hours.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Checks (for our recurring clients). We have recently added an option to make your payments online with PayPal, Zelle or in person with apple pay, and cash app.
Your business is important to us and we want to make sure you are happy and completely satisfied. While we do not provide refunds, we will do everything in our power to provide you with the best cleaning experience possible. So if for any reason you are unhappy, just call or send us an e-mail within 24 hours of your service and we’ll make arrangements to rectify the situation!!
Cleaning Products Used
No. We bring everything needed to provide you with a great cleaning experience. Through Janitorial Services provide all of its cleaning products and equipment unless agreed upon beforehand.
We use a combination of green and traditional cleaning products. For customers who prefer green products to be used exclusively or have chemical sensitivities, that’s not a problem! Just let us know and we can accommodate your needs.
Yes! We do not pick up your belongings and then clean. Here are some simple steps to follow prior to us arriving.
⇒ Make your home/office accessible. A key that is accessible to the cleaning person(s) is usually the best method. A fee will be charged if we are unable to access your home/office. (See Cleaning Service Cancellation procedures.)
⇒ Turn off alarm system. If you choose to leave the alarm on and have the service disarm, we will not be held responsible for false alarms or misuse of the alarm system.
⇒ Have your home/office picked up and ready to be cleaned to avoid additional charges.
⇒ Have your valuables put away to avoid accidents. Limited liability protection for valuable antiques or non replaceable items.

During a cleaning service, if a health or safety hazard is discovered (i.e., blood, feces, weapons, drugs, etc.), we will stop the cleaning and leave the premises. We will contact you immediately to discuss next steps.

Availability
We make scheduling convenient! You can either call our office (919-216-6223) or visit our online booking page. To schedule online, all you have to do is fill out some details about what you need, who you are, pick a date/time and wait for a confirmation to arrive.
We work off 45 minute estimated time of arrival windows so that we can structure our day effectively. This allows us to get to the next client all while navigating traffic and many other variables that take a toll on our time throughout the day (for example: eating and breaks!).
If you book for an 8-12pm appointment our team will notify you of an exact time they will arrive or will directly be there between that 8-8:45am (estimated arrival time).

Service Related Questions
No. You are not required to be home at any point during your cleaning. That being said, if this is your first appointment, it’s usually a good idea to be present when the cleaning crew arrives so that you can provide them with a walk through of your home. Once your cleaning is complete, it’s also a good idea to walk through the home again in order to ensure that everything is to your satisfaction.
We typically send 1-3 cleaners to each job depending on the size of the home to be cleaned.
Unfortunately, due to insurance restrictions, all of our cleaners are NOT allowed to move or lift any furniture.
No. Unfortunately, due to insurance restrictions, all of our cleaners are NOT allowed to stand on any ladders, stepping stools, or furniture. That being said, they do carry dusting poles which will enable them to reach an additional 3 - 5 feet.
All appointments should be cancelled or rescheduled 24 hours prior to your appointment in order to avoid a rescheduling/cancellation/lockout fee of 50% of the appointment total. If you are sick and it’s your cleaning day, please call our office immediately. We will do our best to reschedule your cleaning that same week. Please do not have us clean if your family/employees is sick with the flu, covid 19 etc. Remember you are home/ sent home because you are contagious! Thank you, Thorough Janitorial Services!
Yes of course. After you book for the first time an account will be made for you where you can login and modify your bookings at any time. Please be advised that all appointments would need to reschedule at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid a rescheduling/cancellation fee of 50%of the appointment total.
No. There’s no contract at all. You can cancel anytime.
Currently, we do not book cleanings for:
◆ Windows. Windows need to be cleaned by a professional window cleaning company.
◆ Skylights. Skylights need to be cleaned by a professional window cleaning company.
◆ chandeliers and other delicate items.
◆ wet wiping of light bulbs.
◆ bio-hazardous materials (heavy mold, human and animal waste/bodily fluids).
◆ heavy scrubbing of walls.
◆ hard to reach areas higher than a two step ladder
◆ putting away dishes.
◆ washing exterior surfaces (windows, patios, garages, etc.)

You can either pay with a check, Mastercard/Visa, or online invoice. A check is used by leaving it on your table/ desk for our cleaning crew to pick up. We also take Master card and Visa, we will take your card number and then charge the amount after the service is finished. Through Janitorial Services provide all of its cleaning products and equipment. We are also making efforts to be environmentally aware by eliminating paper surveys and adding eco-friendly products. We are constantly making changes to better the working environment for our employees and to make sure we can deliver a better service for our customers.
We require 48 hours notice for reschedule or cancellations. There will be a $75.00 charge for no notice cancellations and lockouts. If you are sick and it’s your cleaning day, please call our office by 5:30 am. We will do our best to reschedule your cleaning that same week.
